Southside exists for three reasons. First, we are here to exalt our Savior! We are about worship of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. Second, we seek to help saved (born again) people grow in their faith. Third, we know the greatest need of every person who is not saved is to be saved. Therefore we seek to evangelize those who do not know Jesus!
A. Admit you are a sinner.
"There is no one righteous, not even one ... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:10,23. (See Romans 5:8; 6:23.) "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
B. Believe in Jesus
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (See John 14:6.)To all who receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12 (See Revelation 3:20.)
C. Confess that Jesus is your Lord.
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 (See verse 10.)
