Dr. Larry C. Patterson
Family: Dr. Patterson and his wife of 40 years, Wanda Collins Patterson, have three grown children and two grandsons.
Education: Diploma, Thorsby High School, Thorsby, Alabama, 1968 / Bachelor of Arts in Religion, Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama, 1976 / Master of Religious Education, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, New Orleans, Louisiana, 1988 / Doctor of Ministry, Louisiana Baptist University, Shreveport, Louisiana, 1997.
Career: Dr. Patterson came to Southside on November 1, 2008. Before being called to Southside, Bro. Larry was a pastor for twenty-eight years and Director of Missions for Baldwin Baptist Association from 2001 thru 2008. Presently, he also serves as Director of the Baldwin Institute of Samford Extension.
