What Can I Do?
Make a Difference.

Our main purpose is to bring honor and glory to God.
One of the ways we do that is by sharing the gospel with those who don’t know Him.
However, many people panic at the mention of evangelism.
This is a four-session KNOWN study under the Influence category.
Servant evangelism involves serving others as a means to find
opportunity to share the love of God with them.
Students are looking for other ways to make their faith in God known,
and this study will provide several ideas to help them live out their faith.


Every day, students are bombarded with hundreds of messages about sex: at school,
on TV, the internet… sex is everywhere they look. They’re learning about sex from
the culture around them. It’s hard to know what messages are really true.
In these four powerful sessions, students share authentic stories about the
struggles they face regarding sex. Doug Fields offers Biblical insight into how
all teens can make right decisions, live within boundaries,
and seek God’s forgiveness when needed.

Wednesday, July 27th we will start a new Wednesday night lesson on “The Truth about Sex”.
I want to encourage all students to attend this very important study. I believe
there is not better place to learn about this life changing decision than in a
Godly setting such as the home or the Church. Even though this is a God driven
study, I will require parents to sign a release form stating that it is ok for their
student to participate in this study. If parents would like to
attend the study with their teen that would be even better.

September 15th We are hosting 5th Quarter. please plan on bringing finger foods to help feed our guests.

Kendal's Note

During the month of August the Youth will be studying Servant Evangelism,
where we will learn how to show Christ to people through their daily needs.
While we are studying this I want to encourage everyone to keep in mind a
quote from Charles Spurgeon: “Every Christian is either a missionary or an impostor”.
Our charge in the Christian faith is to reach out and help those in need and to
| witness them at the same time. We have to “show” our faith, not just speak of it.
